Firearm was published by Malibu Comics as part of their Ultraverse imprint.The 0# issue included a 35-minute Firearm short film, on VHS.

The series followed Alec Swan, a British private investigator who, against his own wishes, becomes embroiled in cases involving the strange and the ultra-human.

Swan has a story with the mysterious organization "The lodge",and deserted from them. He would fought cannibal cults, annoyed wives, the USA military and a serial killer of ultras, Rafferty.
