Man-Thing vs. The Thing! Ben Grimm takes a side trek to Florida after discovering a swampy menace is using a name similar to his own. It’s a battle for the ‘Thingdom’, as the muck monster and Ever Lovin' Blue Eyed Grimm go head-to-head! But when Molecule Man makes an appearance, will these two set aside their differences?

The Thing is irate that the Man-Thing has such a similar super-hero name and wants to confront him about it. Meanwhile, the original Molecule Man passes away and his "son", a costruct that the Molecule Man created and gave superficial life, goes through the same accident that imbued his father with super powers and takes his powerful wand. This new Molecule Man comes to Earth to fight the Fantastic Four and instead find The Thing and Man-Thing, who defeat him. When this new Molecule Man loses grasp of his wand after being defeated, he literally fades away to dust.
